Description This leading manufacturer in the Grey-Bruce area is looking to add a seasoned Production Manager to their team, to continue building on the tradition of success in the marketplace founded on an employee-centric culture. Investing in team members has resulted in a highly collaborative, tenured group. A natural coach and mentor, the ideal candidate effectively communicates and coordinates strategies and project-based initiatives. Passionate about Lean Manufacturing, the Production Manager will be able to share best practices and support the application of Lean methodologies. Candidates able to offer insights from direct experience leading machining, fabrication, and assembly operations will be highly regarded. A background in plastic or metal product manufacturing is ideal. Strong computer skills and a high comfort level with production planning, inventory control, as well as responsibility for P&L will be essential to success. This role may require infrequent travel to the USA.
