Description This established manufacturer of highly engineered equipment is looking to add the talents of a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to their team. As ongoing success continues driving growth, this position will play an essential role beyond producing robust solutions and designs, by guiding and mentoring Junior Designers under a Continuous Improvement model. The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for structural designs, calculations, materials & component selection, as well as design validation and associated documentation. As a key member of the Engineering team, this person will work closely with Project Management and Manufacturing in this project-based environment.

Our ideal candidate is a creative problem solver bringing deep design experiences working with electro-mechanical systems. At least 8 years of custom industrial equipment design experience is required to satisfy the complex demands of this position. Candidates must have completed a relevant post-secondary program; a valid Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation will be highly regarded.
