Description Kitchener Executive Consultants has partnered with this established Automotive component manufacturer in their search for a proven Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor. The EH&S Supervisor will play a key role in driving a safety-focused culture by reviewing existing practices and leading the development and deployment of standardized policies and procedures. This organization is looking to build on their existing EH&S Programs, and to further comply with regulations such as ISO 14001.

Our ideal candidate is an accomplished Environmental, Health & Safety professional who has a deep background within the Manufacturing sector, preferably within the Automotive Industry. Able to thrive in a shop-floor setting, the EH&S Supervisor will demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering a positive safety culture and promoting employee engagement. A solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation is essential, as is experience conducting audits, inspections, and investigations. A background in program implementation and development will be highly valued, as will strong communication and leadership abilities – highlighted by providing support and guidance to the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC), Health and Safety Coordinators, and team members at all levels.
