Description Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. is conducting a search on behalf of a well-established designer and manufacturer of engineered-to-order electrical safety products. The Engineering Manager, Design & Applications is an integral role responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing success of complex technical projects. Reporting into senior leadership, this position will lead and mentor a team of Engineers responsible for the design, development, and testing of specialized electrical resistance products. The role also oversees technical and application support functions, strengthening the capabilities of the Technical Customer Support team.

The Engineering Manager will have experience establishing procedures and best practices, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations including CSA, UL, IEEE, NEC, and IEC. As this position includes reviewing and approving technical documentation, drawings, and specifications, a Professional Engineering designation is required. Our ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and has demonstrated at least five years of progressive Engineering and Project Management leadership with in-depth knowledge of power electrical systems and components.
