Description Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. has partnered with a global leader in tube manufacturing serving the world’s energy sector to recruit a Maintenance Leader for its Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario facility. This newly created leadership role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager to provide stronger tactical leadership and day-to-day execution of maintenance operations, allowing senior management to focus on strategic initiatives. The Maintenance Leader will lead maintenance activities on the shop floor, overseeing Maintenance Supervisors from multiple teams while ensuring equipment reliability, process continuity, and the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

This position will be focused on a highly automated welded tube manufacturing line that incorporates significant heavy mechanical equipment, making a strong mechanical maintenance background essential. The Maintenance Leader will be responsible for driving maintenance excellence, supporting capital projects and equipment installations, managing contractors and service providers, and leading continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost control.

Our ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience within heavy industrial manufacturing environments and possess strong expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, lubrication systems, and maintenance best practices. The ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and schematics is required, while experience with SAP, energy management programs, and a demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence will be considered strong assets.

Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $115 000 - $125 000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
