Description Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. has partnered with a continuous materials processor to search for an experienced Printing Department Manager. This position requires a hands-on manufacturing leader who is passionate about operational excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and developing high-performing teams. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Printing Department Manager will provide leadership for all printing operations: safety, quality, productivity, and profitability through KPI management, continuous improvement, and strong operational leadership. This role will be responsible for improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), maximizing equipment utilization, reducing manufacturing costs and waste, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate will bring 7-10 years of experience within commercial, packaging, or industrial printing environments, including a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing a Pressroom or Manufacturing Department. Our ideal candidate will also have a proven track record of improving operational KPIs, increasing productivity, reducing manufacturing costs, and successfully leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, team-building, budgeting, ERP/MES systems experience, and data-driven decision-making skills are essential for success in this role.

Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $100 000 - $110 000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
