Description Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. has partnered with an established and highly respected precision manufacturing organization in their search for an accomplished CNC Programmer to join the engineering and manufacturing team. This is an opportunity for a highly experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer who thrives in complex, high-precision machining environments and enjoys developing advanced manufacturing solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Our Client is looking for a true technical expert who combines hands-on machining knowledge with advanced CNC programming expertise to support challenging customer requirements and continuous process improvement.

Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Sr. CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing complete machining strategies from customer drawings and specifications, creating and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam, validating programs through simulation, supporting fixture and tooling design, and assisting with new product launches. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineers, the Sr. CNC Programmer will play a key role in reducing setup times, improving cycle times, maintaining process capability, and ensuring consistent product quality. This role also includes proving out new programs on CNC machining centers, troubleshooting machining issues, developing in-process inspection methods, maintaining process documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing operations.

Our ideal candidate is an expert-level CNC Programmer with extensive milling experience and a passion for precision machining. Candidates should possess at least 10 years of CNC milling experience, a minimum of 5 years programming complex machining operations, and expert-level proficiency using Mastercam. Experience with NC Simulator will be considered a significant asset, while exposure to SolidWorks would be beneficial. A thorough understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, materials, GD&T, precision measurement equipment, and complex manufacturing techniques is essential. Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $100 000 - $115 000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
